		CCBA Scholarships!!
	
	
		Application for the 2013 CCBA Scholarships have been received.  Winners will be announced before the end of April.   
		Donations to the CCBA Scholarship are greatly appreciated and will be applied to the 2013 or 2014 CCBA scholarships.   
		Donors will be listed on the Bar website in order of the amount of the gift.   For more information on the scholarship

		Local Student Awarded 1st Place in the OBA's Law Day 2012 Creative Writing Contest!
  
		Congratulations to Travis Nguyen, an eighth  
		grader at Ardmore Middle School who won first place in the Oklahoma Bar Association's Law Day 2012 Creative Writing Contest,  
		Eighth Grade Division for his piece entitled "Sudden Death".  "Sudden Death" was published in the April 14, 2012 Edition of the  
		Oklahoma Bar Journal and can also be read at

		Local Student to Participate in National Judicial Competition!
	
	
		Congratulations to Amanda Funderburg of Plainview High School, who has been selected to participate in the NAtional Judicial Competition  
		this summer sponsored by the YMCA and the American Bar Association.  Ms. Funderburg's performance at ths part of an appellate  
		judicial team at the mock government this past February during the Youth in Government State Convention led to her being selected  
		for this national competition.  This is a great honor for Ms. Funderburg, Plainview High School and the Ardmore community!
